So, our new GM just asked me if I had a facebook account, and said that his other leagues liked to use it as it was easier to communicate through when you need to get a hold of some one (quite frankly it probably would be easier as facebook stuff doesn't end up in spam folders).
How many people are down for creating a URBII Facebook page? How many of you have a facebook page?

I have one but I never go on it. If it is easier for everybody, we could create a URBII facebook page that we could all check, but for me personally, email and notices on the URB page work fine.

I already created one just in case people like the idea. I have one but I never go on it. If it is easier for everybody, we could create a URBII facebook page that we could all check, but for me personally, email and notices on the URB page work fine.

Don't forget to vote here. I hate spamming you guys with emails (and we've already had issues with those emails going into spam filters), so if you're interested let me know

I have facebook ...
i think it is a great idea. I think the Padres were using facebook for his other league ... at least when he was recruiting owners.
Great idea.
Lots of great stuff going on ... it is great now that we have something soing on. it's fun with the draft, though would have been more fun if the Phillies could have nailed Kershaw ...

yeah, not to mention if we can't get the chat working it could be a much easier way of communicating trade interest.
And the best part is that no one has to friend the Giants to do this, he smells funny.

Could be interesting but I never go on my facebook. One of my concerns is that certain people would only be active on facebook and others would only be active on here. Thus, I vote no.

So here's an idea, those who don't want me sending them emails, or check facebook more frequently can join the FB page and opt out of mass emails as I'll post them in notes or updates or whatever on FB. Those who don't want to use FB stay opted in. If you want to make sure you don't miss it, stay opted in and join the FB group regardless. I've made the group though I'm not sure if you guys can just join or if you have to be invited. The page is here: www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_198468770168143&ap=1

Ok, added two people to the FB page, but I have no idea who you are. Could you guys introduce yourself in the group for me or maybe add your city to your URB info?
