FINED $1 BIDS VOIDED: Pat Burrell $.7 2011+
For overbidding and going over his cap space. Results of how to get him back under cap will be announced shortly after all members of the leadership have weighed in.
(EDITED)EDIT:
Gah, too confusing. Screw it, Burrell is locked until further notice until the leadership figures out how to handle this mess. How we handle Burrell will determine how we handle several other players, players that are already signed. We will notify everyone as to how to handle this as soon as we figure it out. Sorry for the multiple edits, my constantly changing mind, and all the confusion here.

So I've been corrected, apparently the constitution does state that going over cap is a $2 fine. I thought I remembered LAD using $1 before. Rules are rules, we cannot say one thing then do another as it only leads to confusion and anger. Boston's fine will be bumped to $2 thus making his total salary of 108.5 $10.5 too high. The constitution also states that this will last through next year.
I'm sorry Boston, I know this sucks.

The leadership have come to a majority ruling on this situation.
Boston will continue to have his $2 fine for this season and next as stated in the constitution, he is expelled from free agency for the remainder of the FA period (if he can afford a mid-season pick up due to salary dumping or whatever he'll be allowed to partake in it), the players which he signed and forced him to overbid will be returned to the free agent pool. Those players are: Mariano Rivera (to be auctioned off in RP3) Miguel Tejada (to be auctioned off in RF) Mark DeRosa (to be auctioned off in RF)
We are still discussing the Burrell situation, our decision there will affect the following players who have been signed: Derek Jeter Ryan Franklin
We don't know how we're handling this, but those two could be affected as Boston overbid on them despite not signing them, his bids were invalid and affected the final price of those players.
Other players should note what has happened here, go over your rosters and recalculate the salaries of your players, then recalculate them again! Go back over your arbitration players and make sure that their salaries are correct and that their arbitration years are correct. I'm going to suspend CF's one day for everyone to buckle down and get this done. I don't want to see any more of these issues coming up.
