Oh man! I just read that the coach Brian McCann hit with a foul liner had to have his eye removed. No brain damage, but that's crazy! He still plans to manage class A for Atlanta this season.

I hope that doesn't affect Brian McCann too much for the season, I would feel so horrible if I were him. Even though it was a complete accident and I'm sure Salazar isn't upset with McCann.

That is a horrible story. And damn! that's gotta hurt getting smashed in the face that hard.

it is kind of surprising more guys don't get wounded with balls rifling through the dugouts at the professional level. those guys are close, and there's no where to hide.
