Hard to believe, Harry. Reds SP (and first-round pick 2009) Mike Leake has been charged with stealing ... drum roll please ... six T-shirts from a Macy's store ... See for yourself ... news.cincinnati.com/article/20110418/SPT04/304180108/I think they need to change the rules and start allowing the MLB teams to pay these athletes!

Yikes, I know he's making chump change (at least compared to the likes of A-Rod), but seriously, $425k a year and you can't pay $60 for a few t-shirts? Some guys just completely lack character, hopefully this was just an impulsive thing and not true to form.

He was exchanging t-shirts that he bought previously that were too small. He also had a $2M+ signing bonus, so the whole thing was ridiculous unless he was a cleptomaniac and needed to get some help.
I bet he wasn't getting any service so he tried to exchange the shirts himself. Pretty dumb, but not nearly as serious as thought. I think he was charged with unlawful use of property or something like that.

If that's the case, then I feel better about his make-up, still stupid, but not the bad apple that everyone was trying to write him off as.
