Yeah, it'd be until 8:23 I guess. Hopefully he picks before then or that's a long waste of time for 23 minutes he wasn't going to use anyway!

The Astros GM is brand new. He logged in at about 4:30 today ...not sure why he didn't make his draft.
He would have until 8:23 tomorrow to make his pick. If not ... we roll through.

The Cubs appear to be drafting for the Rockies, but have missed the 6-hour window.
As the purpose of leadership drafting for the open team(s) is to assure the team will be worth a new GMs interest/efforts ... the Rockies will NOT forfeit their pick.
However, the draft will move forward until which time the Cubs place a pick for the open Rockies franchise.
Padres are on the clock.
Let's get this thing rolling again!

Just to let everyone know I have no intention of placing any other picks so if someone is interested in a draft and trade please contact me, otherwise I will be passing on my picks.

Phillies will take over for the Rockies.
Once again, the purpose here is to keep the orphan team from becoming so non-competitive as to make it impossible for us to fill the slot.
At this point in the Arb draft, I don't think any of the remaining players will make that much difference for the Rockies, but if the slot comes up again, the Phillies will cast the selection for Colorado.

I will continue with Rockies. I was saying that The Cubs would not draft for The Cubs anymore. Sorry if that came off unclear. I do have a few people that are interested in draft and trade with me so I am not officially passing on my pick just yet.

Not sure where to post this.....I think we should go with Yahoo as a provider if were at 20 or so teams. Its simple, easy on the eyes and every other league I'm in is through Yahoo. Fantrax was quite frustrating. Prospects aren't an issue in my mind. If there playing in the pros they'll be on Yahoo, if there not then why have them on your active roster in the 1st place?

i strongly agree with the jays (although there is another thread about this). the main reason for yahoo in my opinion is what the jays said. that is where all the rest of everyone's leagues reside. it would get people to check more often.

Fantrax was fine. I always max out my yahoo leagues, so I don't want this league taking up one of those 4 spots. I'm the commissioner of two other leagues on yahoo and part of two others.
